To provide you with the options you have available and to customize this installation to meet your specific needs we would like to get some information.

Some of the questions you may be asked may seem unrelated to EV charging so let me briefly explain why we ask what we do. We will need to perform an Electrical Load Calculation to see how much electrical capacity we can send to charge your EV without shorting the rest of the house of needed power. This is an electrical code requirement, and it works out for your safety. (Canadian Electrical Code 8-200) If the house's electrical structure is overloaded, as EV charging can uniquely do with the high draw over long periods, it can cause extensive damage. Some of these serious hazards can include unplanned power outages that if not attended to quickly can include losses from fridge/freezer failure, furnaces not coming on in the winter, and subsequent freezing and flooding. Electrical fires are also a real danger.

Also, please feel free to ask us any questions that you may have as we have been installing for most major EV manufacturers for over 8 years now, we are happy with our knowledge and what we have learned along the way.

We look forward to working with you.
